Duration: 4 Years
Course structure:

The course is divided into eight semesters, each of six months.
Students will have to appear for internal examination (theory and practical) of the college between semesters and for University examination (theory and practical) at the end of every semester.

About the Course

B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering is for the students who are seeking for in-depth knowledge of hardware, software and theoretical aspects of high speed computing devices. The applications of these devices help to solve scientific, technological and business problems. The course is designed to equip students for professional career within the computer industry, particularly those who wish to gain employment in multinational IT companies and also prepare for higher studies.

Further education

One can opt for M. Tech/MS in various specializations in any of the core subjects.

Job profiles

One can work in database management, IT, embedded systems, Telecommunication, computer hardware & software implementation & maintenance, multimedia, web designing, gaming, and almost all other industries in this sector. It is worthwhile to note that the computer industry has witnessed such phenomenal growth in recent years that IT majors like Infosys & TCS have been the major recruiters across all other branches throughout the engineering colleges in the country.

Computer architecture and organization, Database systems, Electronics, Operating systems, Networking, Foundations of Computer Systems, Java Programming and Website Design, E-Commerce & ERP and Multimedia Applications, Digital image processing, Web Technology, Design & Analysis of Algorithm, Computer Graphics, Data Structure and Theory of Automata and formal Languages.

Labs of Computer Science & Engineering Department

This Laboratory is equipped with pentium -iv/ Dual core terminals and high speed IBM Xcom servers, for high speed processing with all relevant licenced software packages installed. The system provide 24*7 internet facility through wireless scholars to access the internet services.
